Want to help the Amazon Conservation Team to consolidate and expand its successes?

It doesn't matter whether your gift is big or small, it WILL make a difference! ACT relies on contributions of all sizes to cover urgently needed field expenses. Among our funding priorities:

• To grant stipends to indigenous students in our Shaman’s Apprentice programs in Colombia and Suriname and provide them with a small supplies allowance.
• To sustain ancient healers, many of whom are too old to hunt and fish for themselves, to ensure that they receive three square meals a day so they live long enough and well enough to transmit their healing wisdom and conservation insight to the next generation of indigenous conservation leaders.
• To purchase small plots to establish medicinal plant gardens and to pay for the tools needed for the healers and apprentices to maintain them.
• To purchase supplies for the Ingano ethno-education school in Colombia.
• To purchase technology and supplies for our traditional medicine clinics in Suriname.

Should you wish your donation to be directed specifically to the shaman’s apprentice programs, to the traditional medicine clinics, or to the ethno-education school, simply make a note on your check. Otherwise, we will assign your considerate gift to the area where it is most needed at that time. What matters most is that your contribution helps deliver important, tangible conservation outcomes in the field!
